About the event

About Sowing Care Together Learning Journeys on Faith-Based Charity and Social Cohesion

The Sowing Care Together (SCT) Young Leaders Council is embarking on a series of learning journeys to explore the values and initiatives of faith-based charities in Singapore. These visits aim to enhance our understanding of how religious organisations, charitable and welfare groups, and faith-based non-profits contribute to fostering social cohesion.

During these visits, participants will meet leaders, volunteers, and youth champions who are committed to uplifting the marginalised, underprivileged, and those in need of welfare. They will have the opportunity to tour the premises, gain insights into the religious and community values underpinning their charitable efforts, and engage with the volunteers driving these initiatives.

This programme is part of the Hope Initiative Alliance's "Singapore for Common Good" campaign in commemoration of SG60 in 2025.
