SCT Young Leaders Council
The Sowing Care Together (SCT) Young Leaders Council is a volunteer-led youth leadership platform under Hope Initiative Alliance (HIA), bringing together young people from diverse racial, religious and social backgrounds to serve the community and champion the common good.

Established as part of the Sowing Care Together movement, which was initiated in 2020 to strengthen social cohesion through charity, volunteerism and youth leadership development, the Young Leaders Council empowers youths to conceptualise and lead socially impactful initiatives. From just two pioneering youth leaders in 2023, the Council has grown to 18 committed young leaders in 2025, reflecting the growing interest among youths to contribute meaningfully to society.

Through community service, interfaith collaboration and partnerships across sectors, Council members spearhead projects supporting communities including ComLink+ youths and families, migrant workers, and other underserved groups. In doing so, they gain practical leadership experience while fostering empathy, mutual understanding and stronger relationships across diverse communities.

By combining youth leadership, values-driven service and meaningful community action, the Young Leaders Council seeks to nurture a new generation of compassionate leaders who are equipped and inspired to contribute towards a more caring, cohesive and inclusive Singapore.
